Paper Roses

On my quest for goodies to fill the shelves of the shop, sometimes I see things that make me go "Hmmmm...."

This was one of those times.

As you probably know (or not!), Target final clearance stuff that doesn't sell goes to Goodwill. (Though I have heard that will no longer be the case in 2017. It remains to be seen, peeps.)

I saw these paper flower kits last year, and sort of regretted not buying one. I knew at the time that the chances were good I would be leaving the classroom, so it was unclear what my financial situation would be...and the kits were rather expensive.

But even at my poverty-level pay, I can afford five bucks now and then!

The kit came with instructions (which of course I did not follow) and all the goodies necessary to make some fun paper flowers.

These will look great in the booth for lots of springy color, and they will also make great decor for the shows I'm doing this spring.

How pretty! They will look very cheerful and welcoming for your booth. I used to make crepe paper flowers many moons ago. Kathleen in Az

Pretty! But I think your customers might try to buy them up too! :)

Did this post bring back some memories? My daughter got one of those kits for her birthday several years ago and I remember making a bouquet with her. While I was all thumbs hers turned out beautiful and it looks like so did yours.
