Being Artsy (because I'm ALWAYS fartsy. I can't help it. I'm old.)
I've been having some fun lately getting things ready for my new booth and for an outdoor event that's having its inaugural show in October. One of the areas I have been weak in is having enough small under-fifteen-dollar items to take the biz to the next level. So I decided to take some scrap wood from the workshop and paint a few things.
These paintings are small (they're on scrap wood) and quick to make while I'm watching an episode of Real Housewives, so I can sell them inexpensively. I've painted about a dozen so far and I have plans for about a dozen more. What I don't sell at the Southern Charm at the Farm show I will put in my etsy shop. (More about that coming soon!)
I posted some of these on Facebook and Instagram as I was painting and I was surprised by all the awesome comments! I'm obviously not a real artist, but I did have fun with them (and that's NOT just the wine talking)!
