What I found appealing!

There haven't been any "what I found appealing" posts in awhile, because I have been busy Downton Abbey-ing.  (For those of you who don't know, which is probably most of you, just one DA post takes about 3 hours to put together.  But I love it!)

When we last left the main bathroom, it looked like this:

While I'm not ready to reveal anything quite yet, let's just say the tile guy was here.

Weekend past, I got to do quite a bit of exploring in Charlotte, which is about an hour and fifteen minutes from here.  (Kinda like going to Eastview, NY Peeps.)  One of the reasons I decided to explore the Queen City (I automatically start singing "Bohemian Rhapsody" every time I pass their signs), was because I keep getting invitations to show my wares there.  (Which does sound vaguely pornographic, but there you have it.)  So I went to check it out.

There was some amazing fabulousity.  Unfortunately, there was also regret.  I walked away from a piece, waiting for DL to send some measurements.  And then...poof!  It was gone.

(Sorry for the poor quality; my phone is a cheapie.)
I am a grown woman and I know that if one walks away from a one-of-a-kind piece, the odds of it being there even one minute later are slim.  In other words; you snooze, you lose.
I have also learned that for every piece I bring into this house, at least one has to leave.  Here are some pics of where my stuff goes:

If you are local, there is no better place for great furniture and accessories than Elizabeth's at Hanes Park.  YOU WILL LOVE IT!  Seriously...check it out at least once a month.  I have a few things there, and other folks do as well...but the real gems are the owners, Densen and Tammie.  Anything you need help with in your home, they can manage.  They have the resources and the vision that I wish I had!

What did you find appealing?

I wish you had gotten that fun piece.

I loved all of the colorful fish pitchers I spotted in one of your photos.

And, are you going to ply your wares there?

What a bummer to miss out on those drawers! Bet your fab pieces sell soon, though... a little consolation and motivation to keep up the hunt. ;-)

You snooze you lose... so true. Those drawers were so cool. So sorry you missed out on getting them. Everything looked appealing to me. Looking forward to the bathroom reveal.

Oh I just hate losing something while I walk around and ponder it. Ugh! That piece was cool too! I am finding our springlike weather very appealing this week. I'm also finding my new spring calves so darn cute I can hardly stand it. If only my own calves were half as appealing. LOL!

Hmmm, what didn't I find appealing? What great finds...I'd better get right over there. Should I move to Charlotte or Raleigh or Asheville???
