Walkabout Wednesday–in Savannah!

IMG_2333
When DL announced that Halloween was on a Friday this year, I said “Let’s go to Savannah!”  (No school on Halloween, which is a great idea because teenagers get a little ridiculous on Halloween.)

These lovely young ladies were out in the afternoon, all dolled up.

And no trip to Savannah on Halloween is complete without stopping to take photos in the graveyard.

Happy Halloween, indeed!

NOTE: The blue screen on death has come for my computer every day this week.  I’m afraid all is lost (in some fashions, literally). If I disappear for awhile, do not lose heart…I’ll be back!

Wait...Savannah as in Georgia? My geography must suck...how long a drive is that for you? I'd love to visit Savannah. And Charleston (yes, I do realize they're in different states...I'm not that much of a dunderhead). :P That second picture is simply gorgeous. And, of course, I love the graveyard shots.

Savannah has been one of those Cities I Have a Crush On Even Though I've Never Been since I read Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil.

Love Savannah! We stopped at that graveyard too once. My boys were not as in awww as we were. In fact, they hated it lol. It's a really cool city with neat sites to see.

Ahhh! Not much like porches and staircases of Savannah! I'm assuming your computer is fixed by now - since you been posting. I hope you enjoy your time off at Thanksgiving.
