Some of you know I have booth space at a decorator market. My success with large pieces is so-so, while the smalls fly out the door.
So this summer, I went to tons of yard sales looking for smalls, both booth-ready and in need of a facelift.
At one yard sale, I found a set of little metal buildings. They were pretty in their simplicity, but they were turd brown in color. As much as I’m all for some color in my house, I’m not sure I want one of those colors to be turd brown.
So I trotted my boo-tay over to Hobby Lobby (I’m there so much that I have given it a nickname—Hobs) and looked in the spray paint aisle. I discovered Krylon’s Original Chrome.
Two light coats, and they look FABULOUS!
They are ready to go to the booth….but I’m not sure I want to give them up!
