It's scary how much your posts remind me of the posts in my head! I used to run around our family room every Saturday night when MTM show came home and pretend I was MTM on the streets of Minneapolis. I got to see MTM in Denver at one of the women conference tours ( i also saw Sally Field another favorite)!
You are so much more than either of them: you lead a bunch of 8th graders in a hallway Valentine's Day dance. You deserve a case of free booze of your choice!
Back in the day I wanted to be Sissy from Family affair lol Then I wanted to be Marcia from the Brady Bunch......................... But I so loved That Girl ( was never crazy about Mary for some reason ) XOX
When it became clear that I lacked the skill to be a solid gold dancer, I fell back on my old standards of Marcia Brady and Nurse Dixie McCall from Emergency (she got to see that hunky firefighter Johnny every day!)

ReplyDeleteI always wanted to be Samantha Stevens, but I would have gotten rid of Darren/Derwood. They weren't named Dick for nothing.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to marry Davey Jones.

ReplyDeleteI just wanted to fling my beret into the air on a crowded city street. Seemed like the ultimate act of freedom back then. :-)

ReplyDeleteMary Tyler Moore - not so much for her but for her apartment. I wanted that big window and an M on the wall.
