2012 Faves!

I hope you have noticed that unlike the Mayans predicted, the world didn't come to an end in 2012.  If you haven't noticed, pour yourself another tequila and just keep on truckin'.

Today, as an end-of-year special edition, I am going to re-post some of my favorite things of 2012.

I went to Chicago with DL and met up with my blogging friend, Linda.

I painted one of my favorite desks, ever.

I hung this chalkboard (and it's still hanging, despite the unorthodox way in which I tackled the job) in the foyer, where it currently lists the scores of the Notre Dame football games.  (They are unbeaten, in case you haven't heard.)

I linked this chair to a few parties where it became a hit, shockingly.

I got to tour a really great house,

And do a little updating of my own!

...and I did all this despite being pregnant!!

Everyone have a wonderful, happy, and healthy New Year!  Much love and luck in 2013, and maybe even a little tequila.

  2. Sure, come to Chicago and it's all "Linda, Linda, Linda."

Fine. But next time? Think Pizza with someone incapable of holding a paintbrush.

P.S. Kidding. Linda is pretty cool. Even if she did keep running away from me at our big Coca-Cola event.

  3. When is that baby due? And I did not keep running away from Marianne at the Coca-Cola event! And meeting you not once but twice in 2013 was a huge highlight of my year. I would've shut down the blog if it wasn't for you, my friend!

    Happy New Year!

    :) Linda

  4. I heard it was triplets, but you know how rumors grow.
Thanks, dear Kirby-Wan, for all the laughs. Thank you for the snorts. Thank you for the bust a gut, pee in my pants moments.
    Keep dancin'!
    Happy New Year!

  6. Haven't had much tequila since college and a very unfortunate trip to Florida State University . . . but I'll toast you with a glass of wine. In fact, I'll toast you with the champagne I am drinking right know - which is a chaser to my Kaluha spiked cafe latte protein shake. Combined with my aggressive cold medicine regime I'm feeling very whole hearted - and ready for lots of toasts.
