Did I find a theme song? Yes? (with a happy face). Or no (with a sad face).
Well, to be honest...a little of both.
I tried. I really did. And a few songs made the final cut, like 1985 by Bowling for Soup, which may just be the best name for a band, EVER. And The Way by Fastball, which just may have the best implications for the listener; I choose to interpret it as getting tipsy, deciding to ditch it all, and escaping to parts unknown, leaving no forwarding address. I mean, who WOULDN'T want an exit to eternal summer slacking? And one of the teachers I used to team with called me 'Carespooky,' so I tried it for awhile:
But in the end, I never found the song that was 'me.' Oh, sure...I'll sail around the room to Katy Perry's Fireworks, sorta like Audrey Hepburn in "Funny Face", the trailer shown here:
or jump up and down to We Are Young by fun, even though I'm not. In fact, probably the song that best describes me at this point in my life is one I used to listen to in elementary school: Windy, by the Association. Because that's exactly what I am. I am Windy. And not in a good way.

But do you have stormy eyes, that flash at the sound of lies?

hugs,
ha ha! al great choices, but yeah not perfect... you need to write your own song. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, first I'm feeling pretty stupid because I thought "Windy" was "Wendy" ... (and I think it has the perfect up tempo beat for you). Second, I have never seen Funny Face. How could that be? It thought I had already seen it at some point in my life and now I'm going to have to figure out to Netflix it or something (even though I don't have a Netflix account ... wonder if it's On-Demand ...?

DeleteI don't know if I could pick just one song anyway..... I don't have a song either at least one I like. Oh please stay with me.....
