Shouldn't you be painting? Then a fruity drink? I like humor, but in books I read true crime, I always gotta know who dun it?. Maybe I should try a little Idiot Girl.

What a star you are! I've been sitting here watching your videos for like 20 minutes! I'm sure you will be doing podcasts soon and famous world round! Just so you will know - I read many books a year. Not as many since I started blogging and reading blogs, but my pretend friends are very important to you. Last year I read Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. That's pretty unlike me, I don't read one author over and over again, but the character's were my best friends. I would be busy working on a project and often I would pause thinking "I wonder how Jamie and Claire are doing? Maybe I should give them a call..." and then laugh at myself - uh duh....they're not real...

Okay ... am loving the recos ...

Can I add my own?

For essayist that will have you laughing out loud ... like spewing your beverage out of your nostrils ... like hurt your belly laugh? David Sedaris. Hands down. in my book. one of the most amazing essayist ever ...

For the classics? To Kill A Mockingbird is a serious favorite of my son and husband. But can I add for a busy person that still wants to say they read the classics ... The Great Gatsby. Seriously. It's not a novel. It'a a novella.

I can't diss Jane Austin. She's the bomb. But if you want Jane Austin light. As in super light and diluted ... as in and you won't get even a hint of literary buzz light ...

Then there is Janet Evanovich. Just books one thru ten though. After that the shark was jumped ...

Kirby, I don't know if it's your awesome name or what, but you must have been born a super star... Seriously, thanks for making this video for our blog party! I took a minute to check out your blog and now have got "Play that funky music, white boy" playing in my head and it rocks, just like you!
